The C&H LGV linear guide system is an extremely versatile, reliable and hardwearing linear motion system designed to work in harsh and dirty environments, even at high speeds. Slides are available in three sizes: LGV25, LGV44, and LGV76, and two precision grades: P1 and P3, offering completely ground surfaces or unground surfaces (as-drawn quality) to meet performance and economic needs. P1 is available in maximum single lengths of 1980mm for LGV25/LGV44 and 1700mm for LGV76, while P3 is available at a maximum single length of 5.5m. Longer lengths can be achieved with butted sets; however, this is only possible with P1 grade rail. The 70° guide wheels come in twin bearings and double row bearings. Unlike regulated ball rails, LGV linear motion systems will not catastrophically fail, even with wear. Maintenance and adjustability of the systems can be achieved by adjusting the eccentric bearings to the required tolerance. The LGV linear motion system can be utilized as a simple guide or as a self-actuated rack or belt-driven system.
