KR

Следящие ролики (ролики типа штифта) разработаны для работы и использования в кулачковых приводах, направляющих плитах, конвейерных системах, линейных системах направления и т.д. Они основаны на игольчатом роликовом подшипнике с резьбовым твердым штифтом вместо внутреннего кольца. У них толстостенное внешнее кольцо с корончатой рабочей поверхностью и поставляются готовыми для установки. Узкий зазор между внешним кольцом и смежными компонентами образует уплотнение типа зазора. Подшипники могут быть смазаны через штифт.

Они доступны в нескольких конструкциях и вариантах:

  • с клеткой или без клетки (полный комплект игольчатых роликов)
  • концентрический штифт или с эксцентрическим воротником
  • с корончатой или цилиндрической наружной рабочей поверхностью
  • уплотнения типа зазора или трехступенчатое уплотнение с помощью пластиковых осевых простых шайб
  • без покрытия или с особым покрытием для защиты от коррозии

KR design cam followers, sizes 16 and 19

  • have a hexagonal recess in the head of the stud, enablling the stud to be held in place by a hexagonal key (Allen wrench) during mounting
  • have a relubrication hole with a pressed-in grease fitting (Accessories) in the centre of the hexagonal recess

KR design cam followers, sizes 22 and 26

  • have a hexagonal recess at each end of the stud, enabling the cam follower to be held in place by a hexagonal key (Allen wrench) during mounting
  • have a relubrication hole for a press-in grease fitting (Accessories) in the centre of each hexagonal recess:
    • with the grease fitting already pressed-in at stud head side
    • with the second grease fitting enclosed

  • have a hexagonal recess at each end of the stud, enabling the cam follower to be held in place by a hexagonal key (Allen wrench) during mounting
  • have a relubrication hole for a press-in grease fitting (Accessories) in the centre of each hexagonal recess:
    • with the grease fitting already pressed-in at stud head side
    • with the second grease fitting enclosed
  • have a relubrication hole in the stud seat

 

Features and Benefits

Features of KR series cam followers

  • a needle roller and cage assembly or a full complement needle roller set
  • have the outer ring axially guided by the pressed-on flange ring and the stud head (integral flange), forming a gap-type seal
  • have the stud head and stud thread black oxidized
  • are also available with with a PP contact seal (three-stage sealing by plastic axial plain washer) fitted on both sides
    • protecting against coarse contaminants
    • retaining grease reliably in the cam follower
    • improving lubrication conditions in the cam follower, keeping friction and frictional heat low, and extending grease life
  • have a hexagonal recess at each end of the stud, enabling the cam follower to be held in place by a hexagonal key (Allen wrench) during mounting
  • have a relubrication hole for a press-in grease fitting or an adapter from a centralized lubrication system in the centre of each hexagonal recess (Accessories)

Temperature limits

The permissible operating temperature for cam followers can be limited by:

  • the stud, the outer ring and rollers
  • the cage
  • the seals
  • the lubricant
  • the other components

Stud, outer ring and rollers

Cam followers are heat stabilized up to at least:

  • 140 °C (280 °F) for designs based on a cylindrical roller bearing
  • 120 °C (250 °F) for designs based on a needle roller bearing

Cages

The permissible operating temperature for cages depends on the seal material:

  • steel cages can be used at the same operating temperature as the stud, the outer ring and rollers
  • 120 °C (248 °F) for polyamide 66 cages

Seals

The permissible operating temperature for seals depends on the seal material:

  • NBR: –40 to +100 °C (–40 to +210 °F)
    Temperatures up to 120 °C (250 °F) can be tolerated for brief periods
  • PP: –20 to +80 °C (–5 to +185 °F)
    PTFE: -196 to +260 °C (–320 to +500°F)  * continuous working temperature had better below +200 °C ( +392°F)
  • Sheet metal angle rings can be used at the same operating temperatures as the stud, the outer rings and rollers

Lubricants

Lithium Soap Grease NLGI #2 

  • SINOPEC Hangu 2# :  –20 to +120 °C (–4 to +248 °F)
  • Shell Alvania EP2: –20 to +120 °C (–4 to +248 °F)

Other components

Eccentric collars and pressed-on flange rings can be used at the same operating temperature as the stud, the outer ring and rollers.
